Adobe Captivate Classic Certificate: Attend Three Sessions, and You're Done!

This course is designed to fit your busy schedule. It's spread across three half-day sessions.

Session 1: An Introduction to Captivate and Soft Skills eLearning

Start your beginner Adobe Captivate Classic training journey here. Get a tour of the Captivate interface, work with existing projects, create new projects, apply themes, and add slides, content, and media. (Note that this training is for Adobe Captivate 2019 as well.)

During this live, online, instructor-led virtual training session (vILT), you will build a soft skills Adobe Captivate Classic eLearning project from scratch. This is a 3-hour, project-based course that will serve as a great jump start on using Adobe Captivate like a professional.

Session 2: Creating Software Simulations eLearning

During this intermediate-level, Adobe Captivate Classic and Adobe Captivate 2019 training class, learn how to unleash the power of Adobe Captivate Classic and create incredible software simulations and video demonstrations of anything you can do on your computer.

You will learn the value of recording scripts, learn best practices for recording screen actions, edit/enhance the recorded content, and publish the simulations for the widest possible audience.

Session 3: Quizzes, Variables, Advanced Actions, and Reporting

Add best-in-class interactivity to your Adobe Captivate Classic and Adobe Captivate 2019 projects by including quizzes and text entry boxes that allow you to personalize the training for each learner. Learn to add variables to the project and unleash the power of advanced actions. You’ll learn how to set up your Captivate projects so that learner interactions and quiz results are reported to Learning Management Systems (LMSs).

Note: This course covers Adobe Captivate 11, also known as Adobe Captivate Classic and Adobe Captivate 2019. This course does not cover the re-imagined version of Adobe Captivate, released in June 2023. If you are using the new Adobe Captivate, also known as Adobe Captivate 2023 and Adobe Captivate 12, we have a version-specific class for you. Check out our Adobe Captivate Training class that supports Adobe Captivate 2023.

Where is this class held?

This is a live, online class led by a field expert, and just like an in-person class, it is fully interactive and engaging. What is the difference between an online and an onsite class? No travel! You can participate from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Many of our students stay home from work on these training days, some never even changing out of their slippers! Where applicable, students can speak with and hear from the instructor and other participants throughout the course as they work in real time to complete activities.
