Camtasia One-Hour Quick Dip: Screen Recording Basics

A great software demonstration created with TechSmith Camtasia begins with a great video captured by the Camtasia Recorder. It seems simple enough… start the Recorder, click the big record button on the control panel, and do your thing. However, if you’ve been to YouTube, you’ve seen the kind of disjointed software demonstrations that always start with the best of intentions but quickly get derailed by a cluttered screen, erratic mouse movements, and an obvious lack of preparation by the user prior to recording.

Camtasia Quick Dip: Screen Recording Basics is a live, online, and very interactive class where you will not only learn how to record effective, efficient software demonstrations; you will also learn some best practices and processes for creating the best video demo possible. Make Camtasia screen recording a breeze!

Who Should Attend?

  • eLearning developers who are new to Camtasia
  • Managers, instructional designers, and others who need to understand Camtasia
  • Anyone who is new to eLearning and needs to get started with Camtasi

Where is this class held?

This is a live, online class led by a field expert; and just like an in-person class, it is fully interactive and engaging. The difference between an online and onsite class? No travel! You can participate from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Many of our students choose to stay home from work on these training days, some never even changing out of their slippers! Where applicable, students are able to speak with and hear from the instructor and other participants throughout the course as they work in real-time to complete activities.
