Access 2016 Queries, Forms, and Reports

This is a follow-up class to the Access: Introduction to Relational Databases class. It will cover the basics of single and multi-table queries, creating and designing basic forms, and reports.

Who Should Attend?

This class is for those who have taken the Access: Introduction to Relational Databases class or have equivalent experience using and navigating around Access. This is still designed as a basic, end-user type of course, and will be hands-on.

Topics covered include, but not limited to:

  • Queries

Learn how to choose fields to display in your query and how to enter criteria to limit the records that are displayed. We will also save and reuse queries, as well as work with multi-table queries.

  • Working with Forms

Access forms are used to display records on the screen. Records can then be added, edited or deleted. We will cover the basics of creating, formatting and saving forms.

  • Working with Reports

Forms are designed to be used on-screen, while reports are designed to be printed. Much of the process is the same, but there are some differences between the two options that we will explore.

Excellent course. I was a little skeptical about a 3 hour online course, but this was great. The instructor kept it interesting and engaging. [From Adobe Captivate Variables and Actions 301: Conditional Advanced Actions mini course with Lori Smith]
