Arguably the most important part of any eLearning lesson is the mighty script. To develop a script, you will need to write the crisp, clear, step-by-step instructions essential to recording screen actions. It doesn't matter if you use Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or TechSmith Camtasia Studio, you need a good script.

While creating a script sounds easy, writing step-by-step instructions is not simple. The more words you write, the muddier your instructions can become. You can easily omit a step or write a step out of order, which can derail the entire recording process.

In this mini course you will learn how to cut out the wordiness, break down the parts of an instruction, and create minimalist, clear instructions.

Who Should Attend?

If you are an eLearning developer, create process and/or procedures documentation, or you need to create technical documentation of any kind, this class is for you.

Where is this class held?

This is a live, online class led by a field expert; and just like an in-person class, it is fully interactive and engaging. The difference between an online and onsite class? No travel! You can participate from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Many of our students choose to stay home from work on these training days, some never even changing out of their slippers! Where applicable, students are able to speak with and hear from the instructor and other participants throughout the course as they work in real-time to complete activities.
