Have you ever watched an eLearning course and there's static, a fan, an echo, or other noise in the background? That noise causes an immediate distraction--and learning ceases.

One of the most important elements of any video or narrated training is the quality of your audio.

This course will discuss the importance of high-quality audio when adding narration to any eLearning course or presentation, including Camtasia, Storyline, Captivate, etc.

We will be discussing suggested audio equipment to use as well as tips and tricks of using Adobe Audition to record and edit narration.

Where is this class held?

This is a live, online class led by a field expert; and just like an in-person class, it is fully interactive and engaging. The difference between an online and onsite class? No travel! You can participate from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Many of our students choose to stay home from work on these training days, some never even changing out of their slippers! Where applicable, students are able to speak with and hear from the instructor and other participants throughout the course as they work in real-time to complete activities.

Need something a little more personal?

We understand your team might have specific training needs and we would love to work with you. We offer both online and on-site instructor-led, fully customizeable courses tailored to your training needs.

Email us so we can discuss your needs and set up your custom training »

In This Class We'll Cover:

  • Audio Equipment Recommendations

You will identify quality audio equipment that won't break the bank (such as microphones, pop filters, headphones, and sound shields).

  • Recording Narration

You will configure Audition for recording and saving your narration and then record your own sample narration.

  • Editing Narration

You will edit your narration by removing background noise, silencing breath sounds or noise artifacts, and raising or decreasing your audio volume.
