The Essentials of Web Page Development

Part 1 Overview

By the time you've finished with this first part of the book, you'll have a clear understanding of what HTML 2.0 is and take the first steps in learning how to work with the tags. Among other things, you'll learn how to create heading tags, bullet and numbered lists, work with color and reference other HTML web pages.

This book is your first stop on your way to mastering HTML and creating great web pages.

Part 2 Overview

You'll be able to control tables and produce newspaper-style web pages. You'll create forms that will allow your visitors to interact with your web page and give you customized feedback. And you'll learn how to create client-side image maps that will add excitement to your web pages.

Part 3 Overview

You'll be able to create pages with flare by using frames. Next you'll use software you can find free off of the Internet to create and add simple animation to your web pages. Then you'll learn how to control text elements on a page via style sheets. Last, but not least, you'll get a quick introduction to JavaScript.
