Part II: The Examples
This part of the class will include some of the following concepts by creating actions to accomplish the task.
- Character String Format Validation
- Audio On/Off
- Tracking Attempts
- Forcing Multiple Student Actions
- Replaying a Slide
- Detailed Quiz Feedback
Part III: Summary
This section will include a review of tips and tricks used in the examples in part II as well as best practices and possible pitfalls.
Please note: This 3-hour online course will cover advanced actions within Captivate 5. It will not cover Action Scripting or other programming.
Pre Requisite for the Course: IconLogic’s Captivate 5 (Essentials) basics class or experience using Adobe Captivate 5.
About Your Instructor
Lori Smith is IconLogic's lead programmer and Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Captivate. Lori has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT as well as a Master’s in electrical engineering from George Mason University. She has been working in the field of software engineering for more than 20 years. During that time she worked on embedded software systems at Raytheon (E-Systems) and ARINC.
